Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of security frameworks for cloud computing environments. We evaluate security mechanisms across public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments using standardized security metrics and benchmarks.

Security Frameworks Analyzed:

  • CSA Cloud Security Alliance Framework
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • ISO/IEC 27001 Cloud Security Controls
  • ENISA Cloud Security Recommendations

Key Findings:

  • Hybrid cloud security gaps identified in 67% of implementations
  • Data encryption effectiveness varies by 40% across cloud providers
  • Identity management remains the weakest link in cloud security
  • Zero-trust architecture improves security posture by 55%

We provide recommendations for implementing robust cloud security frameworks in enterprise environments.
